Mohawk Valley Power of the Past participates in other events besides our Annual Show and Pedal Tractor Pull. One of the main events each year is the Santa Parade in Clinton, New York on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Many years ago Robert Peck (now deceased) established the Clinton Santa Parade tradition of having Santa pulled through the streets of Clinton on the Friday after Thanksgiving at 7 PM. He took his International (red) tractor, with a red nose in the lead as Rudolph and his Deeres (John) to pull Santa's sleigh through the parade route and deliver him to the Fire House for Santa to meet with the children. The year after Robert's passing the tractors did not parade to the disappointment of many. We have been back at the parade every year since come warmth, cold, rain, sleet or snow to insure Santa is brought to the children. All model tractors are welcome to parade. Just arrive at Clinton Tractor at 6 PM and be ready to parade.
Past Parades we have participated in: (We will participate in parades when asked.)
